Charge at home.
Wired by an electrician.
Pick your charger, tell us where the car parks, and see the installed price. Permit and inspection included, and nothing to sign.
The questions we get asked
Before you pick, the four things people ring up about.
Hardwired or plug-in?
Hardwired is the faster and tidier install: the charger is wired straight to your panel with no outlet to fail, and it is the only way to run a 48 amp charger. Plug-in means we fit a NEMA 14-50 outlet and you plug in the cable that came with the car. Plug-in is cheaper and the charger comes with you if you move.
Do I need to upgrade my panel?
Usually not. Load management watches what the rest of the house is drawing and throttles the charger instead of tripping the main, which is what lets a 100 amp panel run a full-speed charger. It is included from the middle option up, and it costs a great deal less than a service upgrade.
How long does it take?
A standard install is a day. The town permit is pulled before we start and the inspection follows the install. Both are in the price.
What decides the price?
Mostly the distance from your panel to where the car parks, because past the first five feet it is wire and labor. The page asks for that distance and prices it. If the run turns out longer than you thought, we tell you before we do the work, not after.
We are an electrical company first, local for almost 20 years, with our own crews on every job and never subcontractors.
